Looking Good at 2 1/2 years old

Juliana turned 2 1/2 years old today! She is wearing her purple dress up clothes and playing with her purple playdough:) Only 9 more weeks until baby brother's due date. We have yet to agree on a name-still taking suggestions:)

Happy 31st birthday to Aunt Joni today as well! Eat some cake for us!!

Happy Easter

Juliana in her Easter dress-Thanks Abuelitos!!

Easter is a great time to reflect on the fact if it weren't for Jesus we wouldn't be able to be in a right relationship with God. So grateful he died and rose again for my/our sins. It is sooo much more about a relationship than religion. We are blessed and thankful to know Him.

Baby Brother's Room

We still need to add the wall art to his room but it is looking pretty good. The dresser was made by Grandma Jo and Dave. Rick stained it a dark espresso color and restained Juliana's crib to match plus painted the baby room. The pictures do not do the room or furniture justice but trust me it looks beautiful! Now that the baby bedroom is off Rick's list, he'll be headed back to finishing the basement:) We are pretty happy to have the baby room pulled together since we did not have that opportunity with Juliana. With Juliana we moved in our house, put up the crib and had her about a week later-ugh!

Celebrating Ms. Teri's birthday

Mr. Bill and Ms. Teri are special friends of Juliana's. They are her "in town grandparents". They love on her and spoil her as one of their own. This works pretty well for everyone since Bill and Teri's grandkids all live in Florida. Plus it gives mom and dad a break:) They are some really great people we met at church and have been Young Life supporters since it began here in town 25 plus years ago. Teri was also my (Jami) Bible Study leader the first year we moved here.
