Blessed with Friends

On May 2nd,I had a baby shower held by my friends Betsy (left) and Laura (right). It was a huge blessing and baby brother is set and ready to go! Betsy has affectionately called this baby "Rocky". She believes wholeheartedly that Rocky Rivera sounds so good and has half the church calling this baby by Rocky:) Rick and I aren't so fond of the name but that has not stopped Betsy:) We love Betsy and wouldn't you know that my baby shower did not have a traditional theme. It had a Rocky theme!! It was done tastefully so and is a little hard to describe. We even played a game trying to name this baby with Rocky music in the background:) The top three names chosen and voted on were Matthias, Andre and Emilio. Not to disappoint but we did not settle on one of these names. We do have one name in mind but it won't be revealed until he gets here! Just in case I (Jami) think of a different name in the next 4 1/2 weeks:) I can't seem to make any major decisions lately-good thing I have Rick around.

I did get to celebrate my 35th birthday last week with tickets to the symphony which was a lot of fun-thanks Teri!!!

Rick and Juliana take time for a photo right before bedtime stories. The 2nd picture is of me and Juliana rocking baby brother. If I look tired, it is because I had been spending at least 3 hours every morning (2-5am) wide awake. The plus side is I got a lot done:)
